I didn't realise how connected to energy I was as a kid.
I shut off my ability to feel and sense because it was not safe. There was no one to show me the way.
My energy journey began 15 years ago.
Before that I had no clue how to do any of this.
I lived in constraints, like chains, created by my energy patterns, repeating negative emotional patterns, thought patterns, and beliefs.
I was like, "Energy what?"
There is no way I ever thought I would be doing this.
I kept following the call in my heart, destination unknown.
You may be asking, "How did you get started in this?"
Well, the perfect storm of a personal crisis meant I was experiencing my dark night of the soul.
My father's trauma broke him, deeply affected our family, and broke me.
The death of my father in 2011 meant I had to reconcile the meaning of his life.
It was a lot to unravel, and at the time, I was still knee-deep in some heavy, hard drug habits I had been cultivating for over a decade.
Was I equipped with the inner resources to navigate processing all of that and make a healthy shift in my life? Absolutely not.
My nervous system would go into a freeze state, which showed up as procrastination, avoidance, crazy blushing, and being stuck in anxiety and overwhelm. I didn't actually recognize any of this.
Talk about a lack of self-awareness! I had insomnia but was good at appearing functional. No one really knew what was going on.
From the word go, I was schooled in the dissasociation of "everything's fine." Act normal and carry on.
The immense ocean of emotion that swirled inside of me was terrifying.
With deep gratitude for the healers and Shipibo tribe shamans who carry this work forward and supported me to realise who I am and how I can serve.
What I know now is that you:

Never in a million years did I imagine, the first time I took a solo journey into the depths of the Amazon jungle in 2011, that I would go back many, many times.
Part of a profound 7-year initiation with a plant medicine called "the Vine of the Soul & the Rope of Death", also known as Ayahuasca. Over 100 ceremonies later…
This medicine showed me the interconnected "geometry" that can hold and rearrange patterns of consciousness, emotions, thoughts, and beliefs within me and you.

I have been obsessed and geeking out about all things energy since the wheels came off, and freakin' WOW, it's been the best decision of my life. I trained intensively for 4 years as an Eden Energy Medicine Clinical practitioner. Then as an Emotion Code and Spirit Doctor Practitioner. I have also certified as a Strategic Intervention Coach, with Tony Robbins & Cloe Madanes.
